Hello Rainbow tribe, happy astrological new year.
Did you know that the astrological new year starts on the Equinox point (Autumn in the South and Spring in the North)?
This is when the sun enters zero degrees of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac.
New year and new theme idea…well, this is how I have been theming my newsletters for years now.
But as my life has changed soooo much the last while, I am learning the art of flexibility.
This makes me chuckle because for those who have joined my yoga over the years, or seen me belly dance, you will know that physiologically I am actually quite flexible and supple.
For those who know me as the mutable Gemini sun that I am, you would also think, “she has no issues adapting and pivoting”.
And on many levels, you would be right.
But and here is the big BUT, having my most intimate and secure places crumble has pulled up all the places I am NOT flexible at all.
In fact it has shown me much about my need to control, and how many subtle ways that has been infused into my life…so subtle it has taken the breakdown of my marriage, the shattering of my heart and all the things I was clinging to in spite of where they had become toxic for me to actually see.
Hind sight, well, we all know what they say about hind sight!
What this means for the newsletter themes is that I will be discussing what feels important to me in the moment.
I will not prepare and pre plan ahead but trust the guidance that comes through me.
Let’s see how it goes, I can change my mind if I want to.
Funny choice of words
So, I love words… no surprise there, and the words we speak collectively and personally ‘speak’ volumes to us, if we just listen.
Side bar: I am often reminded of this little rhyme;
The wise old owl sat in the oak, the more he saw, the less he spoke.
I am the first to remind myself that if I want to hear, I need to shut up…well my inner dialogue used to be that rude to me, but now she says.
“My love, if you want to hear, you need to get quiet.”
I can change my mind, you can change your mind, we can change our minds…
Think on that.
With Pluto in Aquarius the collective hive mind is powerfully shifting.
We don’t have a hive if we don’t have every bee doing their work.
The good news is, you are not responsible for the whole hive, but you are responsible for being the best bee you can be.
As the late great Mahatma Gandhi said – Be the change you wish to see in the world.
On the opposite side from Aquarius, we have the sign of Leo.
This feels to me to be SUPER important, which is why this whole conversation has come to bee today.
Leo rules the heart (queen bee), Aquarius the mind (hive mind) for us to develop a wholesome new Earth, our head needs to be the servant of our heart.
We have lived for too long with our heads as masters of our hearts and now is the time to change that.
We do that by being the best bee we can bee.
Do your own work, keep your own side of the street clean, be responsible for your own honey.
Don’t worry if you are as good as Betty bee, or better than Bertie bee! Bee who you are, own all the parts of you.
Let your microcosmic internal bee hive be sticky and sweet, wholesome and sovereign.
Then watch as that ripple into the macrocosm.
I am going to hop off my soap box now, and buzz off to do my work.

Astrology Buzz
Aries Mar 21st to Apr 20th fast and fiery Aries season is well underway, with its double new moons this year. If you feel like you had a false start, or a soft launch, the next new moon will be the big kaboom. Did I mention it is an eclipse?
Taurus Apr 21st to May 21stI am always happy for the slow down feel of Taurus season, this one will see a full moon eclipse in Scorpio, so take some time to feel both emotionally and physically what is transforming in you.

New Moon
Second Aries New Moon is on the 20th of April, and it will be a solar eclipse.
Though it will not be visible in South Africa or much of the world, it’s impact will still be felt.
Australia and some other areas that have more visibility may be more obviously affected.
This double reset is where Red Tent 2.0 began.
We had a soft launch for our first virtual gathering, doing treasure maps (vision boards) harnessing our dreams for the next year.
The real content begins at this eclipse…it is not too late to join us.
I am excited to reset, reboot and journey with you through the next level of our personal self-discovery.
The more we explore and uncover about ourselves (shadow and light) the more authentic and accountable we can be.
We have been journeying through the eyes of the Moon for six years now, and it feels like it is time to dive deeper into the other parts of our psyche.
This will be a deep dive, one puzzle piece at a time into your own birth chart (blueprint).
Can you believe we have a doubly lucky reset with 2 Aries New Moons this year (last time was in 2004).
With the 2nd Aries New Moon, we will begin to look at our own chart and learn about the Archetype of the month, starting with Mars.
You will learn how you get what you want, where that is empowered and where it is challenged and how to develop your understanding of your Martian self.
Following that will be Venus, then Mercury and away we go.
My plan is to keep this at the very affordable R200/$15 monthly membership.

Crystals Made Simple

The crystal I want to spotlight is called Apophyllite.
It usually forms in little clear pyramid shapes, either individually or in a cluster. Thought mostly clear it can be found in other colors.
Not one I focus on much because it is a very high vibrational stone, and as such is not for everyone.
In my healing sessions I will very rarely work with it, but in my personal capacity I find it exceptionally powerful.
It is a very spiritually expansive and protective stone.
It also works well on the physical body but usually more by way of how it enlightens us to where our stressors or traumas are causing the physical problems that persist.
It really raises the frequency of the room it is in, and clears your aura when you are near it.
Consciously and intentionally working with this or any crystal will vastly amplify its ability to assist you.
